Consumers Can Now Rate YouTube Ads

Viewers can now grade ads appearing on YouTube and those grades will influence the prominence of those ads. This will lets users be in control of the the advertising. YouTube CEO and co-founder Chad Hurley said: "Consumers are increasingly programming their own entertainment and content experiences. Our vision is to build a new advertising platform that both the community and advertisers will embrace."
